Whenever I read about the unearthing of an ancient sculpture, I always consider the impact of it upon Earth. A 2000 year old stature of the Goddess Hygieia emerging from the rocks and sand is giving "clean up your act" and "take care of your health".
Hygieia is one of the daughters of Asclepius, the patron god of doctors and his father is Apollo, who is regarded as a healer and protector too.
Along with her sisters, Hygieia continued her role as health practitioners in Hellenistic Greece but you can call upon her lineage even now when seeking assistance in preventative health care.
